Let's Dust this off a Bit

Trying to write, work at a demanding job, and spend quality time with your family is no easy task.  Ultimately, putting new content on this site is what got cut, in case you did not notice.  I assure you, I have been working on Book 2 of the Lifestream Trilogy.
I really did think that I would be able to knock out "A Dirge for the Gloaming" by Spring of this year, but that time has come and past.  The story has really taken off, transporting me to places for which I was not completely prepared.  I am currently working on Chapter 24 (I anticipate there will be 27 total) and am right at about 82,000 words.

To give that some perspective, "A Song for Eventide" is 66,500 words.  It looks like Dirge is going to brush up against 100,000 words when finished.  Although, once I start the editing process, it may come down a bit.

Anyway, if you have been waiting for me, I do apologize.  But I assure you, I have not been stagnant.  Dirge is coming along and, if you liked Song, Dirge will blow your mind.

In the meantime, check out the "Links to Other Stuff" page I just added.  My buddy Ben Hare has taken a break from his own writing to create a podcast where he is reading Song and a few other works from members of the Here Be Dragons Writing Group.  You can also learn more about our writing group at the Here Be Dragons website, which can also be found on my links page.

Thanks for reading.

I am someone who enjoys telling stories and I decided I'd share some here.  I'm a lawyer by trade, but I promise you'll find no legalese here!  Hopefully my words can transport you someplace magical for a spell.
