I am a lawyer in Fort Collins, Colorado.  I am married to Tiffany, a beautiful and intelligent mental health therapist, who helps to keep me sane.  I have one incredible daughter, who keeps me on my toes at all times.  My family also consists of four rescue animals, two dogs and two cats, who constantly work to undo the aforementioned sanity.

Writing is something that I have long attempted, although most of my work was discarded shortly after creation, decisions which I now lament.  Never one to cry too much over spilled milk, I decided to not only start keeping my stories, but I've actually let others read some of them!  This revelation was the result of accepting a challenge laid down from a friend and work colleague in 2012 to participate in NaNoWriMo.  If you aren't familiar with the term, it is short hand for National Novel Writing Month.  The challenge is to write 50,000 words in the month of November.  Despite contending with helping my wife put together a spectacular one year old's birthday party, I succeeded in the challenge and the result went on to become "A Song for Eventide".

I started "A Song for Eventide" in 2005, although it did not have a title then.  Written in longhand within three legal pads, it was shelved for seven years.  Happily, it did not make its way to the waste basket!  I have always enjoyed telling stories, and trying to entertain others.  I hope that those who read my stories enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them.

Thanks for reading.
